There is a parcel of land in North Denver that God is going to use to change lives, marriages, and homes. People will find healing and freedom on this property. People will discover the meaning of life. People will come to know God’s love, grace, and purpose. It will change them and the generations after them. Those who battle addictions will find a new power through God’s Holy Spirit. Those who have given up in life will find hope. Those who are tired will find strength. Those who have been hurt will find healing. A place for people to love, serve, and experience God.
Imagine 15 acres with multiple buildings that have one purpose- to impact lives and make families stronger. On this property there will be a housing program, a preschool, a food resource program, a community coffee shop, a donation-only restaurant, commercial businesses, a recovery program, marriage programs, and much more. All working together for the glory of God.
The planning is underway! A builder, architect, and civil engineer have been hired, and have been working with the City of Thornton Building Department. The conceptual site plan is currently underway, with the hope of having construction drawings soon. Our goal is to break ground in 2026 and move in before August 2028.
ThornCreek strives to be the kind of church that the city would miss if they were not there. Loving on people outside and inside the walls of the church is a priority. This project will bless families, communities, and other churches.
Food For Hope is a non profit organization that feeds over 20 public schools in the county (FoodForHope.net). This organization was started by ThornCreek Church. They will be in the same building as ThornCreek, with future plans to build their own building. It will minister to families and children six days a week. They currently feed 1,200 people every week and work with over 30 public schools. Supporting this project enables Food For Hope to be with ThornCreek and solidifies their future.
The momentum is greater than our current buidling. We believe God has blessed people with opportunity and resources for a greater purpose. ThornCreek Church is looking for generous community-minded and kingdom-minded people that still believe God can do impossible things. People who want to leave a legacy and be part of something bigger than themselves.
The total cost for infrastructure and a 50,000 square foot building is estimated at 8 million dollars. ThornCreek will start with “essential” walls and renovate as funds are available. The total cost for a completed building is approximately 10 million dollars. The land is owned, free and clear. Glory to God.
ThornCreek will have five (5) revenue streams coming out of this 50,000 square foot building. All five (5) businesses will generate revenue throughout the year, and all are scheduled to start operating within 12 months of occupancy.
